Participants were invited to make individual or joint commitments to help achieve the Agenda for Humanity. In addition, they were invited to align themselves to 32 core commitments developed for the 7 High-level Leaders’ Roundtables of the World Humanitarian Summit. Each stakeholders commitments are organized by commitment type in the table below.

Empower and protect women and girls

The Oak Foundation commits to invest at least 10% of its annual budget directly in local and national women's organisations that promote the rights of women and girls and empower them to reach their full potential as well as local women's groups that provide front-line services to victims of violence in crises, particularly sexual violence, and that provide advocacy that responds to the specific needs of local women and girls. Oak will advocate with other donors to invest directly in national women's organisations.

The Oak Foundation commits to support and fund organisations that provide or advocate for the right to comprehensive sexual and reproductive rights for all women and girls in crisis situations. Specifically, this includes the right to contraception as part of the basic assistance package and the right to abortion as part of non-discriminatory medical care under international humanitarian law for women and girls in conflict. Oak will advocate with other donors to support the right to contraception and abortion in crises situations.

Oak will advocate with other donors to increase their grant making for unearmarked support.
