IDLO commits to collect and exchange good practices and lessons learned on integrating international humanitarian, human rights and refugee law norms and standards into national policies, constitutions, legislation and laws.

IDLO commits to respect international humanitarian law, human rights and refugee law in its rule of law work with governments and other national partners on constitutional and legal reforms, institution building and access to justice.

IDLO commits to sign, respect and support the Call to Action on Protection from Gender-based Violence in Emergencies commensurate with its mandate, capacities and resources.

IDLO commits to strengthening legal aid, legal awareness and access to justice for refugees, displaced persons and other vulnerable populations in post-conflict situations through capacity development support and technical legal assistance to governments, national and local institutions, and civil society organizations (in at least five countries by 2020).

IDLO commits to document and exchange good practices and lessons learned on rule of law approaches enabling gender equality and the achievement of better justice outcomes for women in conflict and post-conflict situations and other humanitarian settings (2016-2020).

IDLO commits to ensuring gender-responsive legal and institutional frameworks across all its work on institutional and legal reform, with a focus on conflict situations and fragile states (2016-2020).

IDLO commits to supporting states to enact, enhance and implement national legislation providing for property and land rights for women, including women refugees, returnees and displaced persons, through capacity building and technical assistance in the areas of law reform and access to justice (in at least five countries by 2020).

IDLO pledges to strengthen women's professional participation in the justice sector in fragile states, transitional, and humanitarian situations, with the aim of enhancing women's access to justice, combating gender-based violence and improving justice outcomes for women (in at least five countries by 2020) .
