Participants were invited to make individual or joint commitments to help achieve the Agenda for Humanity. In addition, they were invited to align themselves to 32 core commitments developed for the 7 High-level Leaders’ Roundtables of the World Humanitarian Summit. - The Global Campaign for Education reiterates its commitment to the fundamental human right to education for all, and that this right must be realized before, during and after a crisis. Ensuring the active involvement of citizens in determining the first lines of response, participating in processes of policy and programme development, and ensuring accountability for implementation is critical to effective delivery of quality education in conflicts and crises.
