Participants were invited to make individual or joint commitments to help achieve the Agenda for Humanity. In addition, they were invited to align themselves to 32 core commitments developed for the 7 High-level Leaders’ Roundtables of the World Humanitarian Summit. Each stakeholders commitments are organized by commitment type in the table below.

Take concrete steps to improve compliance and accountability

- Amnesty International will continue to play a leading role in responding to conflicts and crises, including by investigating abuses and violations of international humanitarian law and human rights, consistently calling for the protection of civilians, pursuing accountability for state and non-state actors who perpetrate abuses, and seeking access to truth, justice and reparations for victims. In particular, it will urge all states to pledge to support action by Security Council aimed at preventing or ending mass atrocity crimes. It will call on states (and armed groups, where applicable) publicly to re-affirm their commitment to respect the legally binding rules of international humanitarian law, and to back this up their commitments with action.

- Amnesty International will represent victims of conflicts and crises through its advocacy and campaigning work, including by pushing states and international institutions to act effectively in the face of conflict and crisis situations, and launching a global campaign on the rights of refugees and migrants (from September 2016).
