Please complete this online form to register commitments that support the achievement of the Agenda for Humanity. Commitments should be SMART (specific, measurable, actionable, realistic and timebound). Stakeholders are expected to voluntary report on an annual basis on progress made toward achieving their commitments.

Step 01: Stakeholder Information

  • Academia: Institutions dedicated to education or research.
  • Foundation: A public or private entity established for the purpose of donating funds or engaging in philanthropy. Foundations established by corporations or companies should be marked as “private sector”.
  • International organization: An organization with an international membership, scope or presence. International and national NGOs and UN entities should be marked as “NGO” or “UN” respectively.
  • Regional organization. An organization with a regional membership, scope or presence.
  • Faith-based organization: An organization whose values, mission and/or membership are based on a particular religion or a set of beliefs.
  • Member State: A state that is a member of the United Nations. Only national governments should be marked as Member States. Local and provincial governments should be marked as “Other”.
  • NGO: A not-for-profit, citizen-based organization that is independent from governments or inter-governmental organizations. NGOs can operate on a local, national, regional or international level or may comprise networks or consortia to coordinate among them.
  • Private sector: All for-profit business that are not owned or operated by the government. This category also includes foundations established by the private sector.
  • UN: Any United Nations entity.
  • Other: Any other type of entity that does not fall into one of the above categories.
Region refers to the scope of a stakeholder’s operations. For those stakeholders that have programmes in multiple countries (e.g. UN entities), please select “Global”.

Focal Points *

You may include the names and contact details of up to three focal points. The first name entered serves as the primary focal point for following-up and reporting on commitments. The email address of this primary focal point will serve as the user ID to log into your organization’s account.

Step 03: Register core commitment alignments

Stakeholders are invited to express alignment to one or more of the 32 core commitments listed below. The core commitments were developed for each of the seven High-level Leaders Roundtables of the World Humanitarian Summit and in support of the achievement of the Agenda for Humanity. In aligning with a core commitment, the Member State or organization commits to taking concrete actions to contribute toward the advancement of that core commitment. Stakeholders are expected to voluntary report annually on actions taken toward achieving the core commitment.
